John 15:1-8

For the next several months we will be walking through the life and teachings of Jesus as told to us by someone who walked with Him, the Apostle John.

This week we enjoyed an opportunity to hear from Ross Kellis, the church planter at RADIUS Church – Saluda. In John 15 Jesus gives his disciples a metaphor. He is the Vine, His disciples are the branches and God is the vinedresser. It’s an extremely intimate picture…God intently manicures His prized vine and is concerned for it’s fruitfulness. It points us to God’s intimate care for His people, but also the deep desire for the growth of His Kingdom. Lastly, Jesus tells us that nothing apart from Kingdom work is worth anything. Even the greatest of civilizations will not last into eternity. Ross left us with a challenge: “Do you want something or nothing?”

If you would like to begin a conversation about following Jesus or would like to talk more about how your story and the Gospel connect, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.
