Exploring Your Faith

We encourage our Middle School students to explore their faith through building a better understanding of Scripture, small groups, and community. We build on the foundation set in RADIUS Kids by giving depth to the Bible stories that they encountered there. Our greatest hope is that students would meet Jesus and eventually surrender their lives to Him alone. We believe our Middle School students are the next generation of priests and prophets that will impact an even larger radius.

Partnering with Parents

We want to provide a “second voice” in the lives of our students – one outside of the home that speaks truth and encouragement into their lives and one that partners with what parents are trying to achieve at home. We do this primarily by providing a space where students can learn and grow in relationship with Jesus, build friendships with other students and walk through life with other adults who can teach them to be better followers of Jesus. The primary place that this happens is in our Wednesday night gathering of RADIUS Students.

What to Expect - Wednesdays

Middle School Students meet at RADIUS – Lexington on Wednesday nights at 6:30PM in Building 314. Wednesday nights are for having fun and building community within our Middle School student group. We use this time to teach, worship together and to learn through our age/gender-specific small groups. For a full list of activities, be sure to download our mobile app and check out the “Students @ LX” page.

Darvaris Peterson | Middle School Pastor

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, I spent most of my life as a southern boy. However, I was led to move out to Iowa, to attend School at Emmaus Bible College, where I received a BA in Bible theology with a minor in History. I am the father of Zyria Peterson, who is my favorite person on earth. I have a huge heart for evangelism and outreach, and I am looking forward to learning & leading in my role at RADIUS.
