Lexington Big Game Party & Chili Cook-off
February 4 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us at RADIUS Lexington to watch the Big Game on Sunday, February 4th. We’ll gather together at 6PM in the parking lot (provided the weather cooperates; if it’s nasty or too cold we will move inside) to watch the game together. Here’s the catch – this year we want to see how good your chili cooking skills are. We’ll have some prizes for the best chili. So, make enough of your best chili to serve your family (or more) and “bring your Chili A-game to the Big Game”! We’ll have prizes for Best Overall, Spiciest, and Most Original. Don’t forget your tailgate chairs!
If your last name begins with A-M, we’re asking you to bring a salty/savory side to share.
If your last name begins N-Z, we’re asking you to bring a sweet side / dessert to share.
We’d love to know how many folks to expect, so please take a moment to RSVP here.
1. Will there be outlets to plug my crockpot in? Unfortunately, no. While we’d love to be able to provide everyone an outlet, there just aren’t enough circuits outside of our buildings. Please bring your chili already heated in an insulated container to share.
2. How much food should I bring? If you plan to prepare enough food to feed your family we’ll have plenty.
3. Do I have to RSVP to attend? Absolutely not! We use the RSVP form to help us plan, but please don’t feel that you have to skip out if you haven’t replied.
4. What if the weather is cold / nasty? We really want to do this party right, so we’re planning to host it in our parking lot, but if it gets rainy or too cold, we’ll plan to move the tables and programming into our RADIUS Kids facilities (Building 314).
