WHAT IS GIVE HOPE?

Our name – RADIUS –  means that we want to be responsible for our radius as we live out our mission. We want to show God’s love and His generosity towards us by taking care of our communities and those in need.

Money given during our annual Give Hope campaign each December moves out into our community all year long to those in need. Trusted people and organizations, as well as our own RADIUS Partners, who work on the front lines are experts at vetting and distributing your money responsibly.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS

We’ve vetted community partners who work each and every day on the front lines helping people in need.

Ezekiel Ministries exists to share the love and truth of Jesus to families in inner-city Columbia and across the Midlands. They provide an after school program at RADIUS Church – Lexington that develops literacy, includes a mentoring program and ends with a Bible lesson. At RADIUS Church – White Knoll, they provide a Wednesday night program that includes dinner for the kids, a Bible lesson, and lots of fun!  Their hope is to strengthen the mind, body and soul of each student in their program. Their long term goals are to strengthen the family structure and help families break the cycle of generational poverty. RADIUS financially supports Ezekiel Ministries with a yearly donation of $78,000.

Mission Lexington is the hub of care for Lexington County, assisting families and individuals with life essentials, resources, and guidance. Through a network of over 50 churches, donations from local businesses, government agencies, organizations and individuals, Mission Lexington is able to meet over 30,000 needs a year. In 2018, RADIUS Church began conducting all local generosity through Mission Lexington and has partnered with them financially with a monthly donation of $1,000.

Lighthouse for Life is an organization seeking to stop human trafficking and provide grace and restoration to victims. Their education program shares the severity of human trafficking in the United States with churches, schools and other organizations in order to help communities spot and protect themselves from trafficking. Recently, Lighthouse for Life opened Karis Home, a place of rest designed to provide long-term restorative care for female survivors of sex trafficking. Lighthouse for Life offices out of RADIUS- Lexington. RADIUS financially supports Lighthouse for Life with a monthly donation of $1,000.

RADIUS Partners

Ministry is accomplished in many ways beyond formal programs of the church. We value the individual passions and gifts of our partners and believe that God intends to use them both here and around the world. Ministry Grants invites our own RADIUS partners to apply for yearly grants of $250-$2500 to support their own specific projects, programs, or their personal ministry.

Recipients receive financial support as well as personal encouragement, ministry development, and a communication platform.

Below you will find a list of current recipients and information on upcoming application dates. Please consider ways you can personally support, pray for, and encourage our members as they are serving.

CAMPUS CARE

Campus Care provides emergency financial assistance to RADIUS Partners, attendees, and those in our community who are in need. We keep our eyes up, ready to jump in and help as needs arise.
