Luke 10

This week we looked at the story of the Good Samaritan. God’s standard is that we love Him with everything we have and that we love our neighbors as ourselves. Unfortunately, the reality is that we’ll never do either of those things perfectly and, as such, fall short of God’s standard which separates us from Him. Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan to show the religious leader his own sins (racism, self-righteousness and a multitude of others). This parable should help us examine our own hearts and our posture toward our neighbors and, where necessary, repent.

If you would like to begin a conversation about following Jesus or more information on His goodness to us, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.
