This weekend Lead Pastor, John Reeves, walked us through Psalm 8. As our country continues to struggle with racial injustice and other turmoil, Psalm 8 gave us a chance to re-center our hearts and minds on the God Who is over it all. It was a great reminder that God is the King over all of creation, but that He also cares deeply for mankind and that each person is made in His image and likeness. As we consider how to overcome injustice, the fact that all of mankind is made in God’s image is a great reminder that we should heed James’ words and “be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry” (James 1:19). Do you have questions? Do you need to repent of racism in your life and turn toward Jesus? We’d love to start a conversation. Send us an email and let’s chat.
