Sit. Walk. Stand.

Week 6

Prayer is a fundamental exercise for the Jesus-follower. It is God’s gift to us that we are able to approach Him in relationship because of the sacrifice of Jesus. Far too often though, we neglect the exercise of prayer. As we talked about this week, prayer requires us to humble ourselves and give glory to God. It is our way of saying we cannot do anything without His grace and power. We also learned that Jesus teaches us to pray with persistence (Luke 11). How can you put prayer into practice this week?

If you would like to begin a conversation about following Jesus or more information on how He might be calling you to go, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be working through a few books to help guide our training. If you would like to check them out, you can purchase them below.
