Yesterday, we talked about the deafening impact of self-righteousness when it comes face-to-face with a holy God. Often times we can find ourselves in a season of arrogance when we forget the weight of God’s forgiveness in our lives. John Reeves reminded us that, “The most forgiven person is the one who understands the distance between God’s holiness and themselves.” Recognizing the reality of the sacrifice of Jesus and honestly repenting leads us to magnify the cross of Christ. If you prefer audio, you can listen to the audio here.

Do you struggle with self-righteousness? Have you found it hard to repent recently? If you would like to begin a conversation about following Jesus or would like to talk more about how your story and the Gospel connect, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.
