Week 3: We Are Family

In this 3rd week we talked through Acts 2:41-47 and the idea that the Church is built on deep relationships between followers of Jesus. Luke uses the Greek term koinonia to define the fellowship or partnership that was between the early followers of Jesus. It has a rich feeling of community and there is a deep sense of “having another’s back”. The key point is that we should intentionally devote ourselves to God’s family. One example of how we can do this is by breaking bread / sharing a meal together – specifically sharing the Lord’s Supper which is what we did corporately this week. How can you intentionally devote yourself to God’s family this week?
