A few weeks ago, we hosted our first North Augusta Interest Meeting, inviting people to hear the vision and begin praying about what God might do through a future RADIUS church plant there. Around 40 adults and 15 kids came, and the night focused on connection, vision, and taking a first step together.

One of the most encouraging parts of the evening happened before anything officially started. People who had never met connected easily. Later, when Sean Coffey shared a “domino” story from the Longs Pond campus — the picture of how one step of obedience can start a chain reaction only God can see — the room locked in. It was a powerful reminder that God works through simple faithfulness.

We spent time in small groups praying for North Augusta and for our personal “dominoes,” the people in our lives we’re asking God to draw to Himself. The night felt like a clear first step: people showing up, praying together, and trusting God to do what only He can do. It was a great picture of what it means to plant churches — obedience, prayer, and small steps God can multiply.

This past Saturday was a beautiful reminder of how God works through simple acts of love and faithfulness at RADIUS Lexington. We had the joy of hosting nine adults and their families for a time filled with laughter, connection, and celebration. The room was alive with bingo games, reindeer games, crafts, and plenty of smiles—creating a space where families could relax, have fun, and feel truly welcomed.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was being able to give each adult a Bible chosen specifically with them in mind. These Bibles were generously gifted by one of our partners and her friends, and the impact was immediate and profound. The families felt deeply loved and seen, and many were overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity that was shown to them.

The story didn’t end there. On Sunday, two of those families returned to church—some for the first time in years. What a powerful testimony to the way God moves when His people step out in obedience and compassion.

We are so grateful for our partners, our volunteers, and most of all for a God who continues to draw hearts back to Himself. God is so good.

1. From Rejection to Leadership in One Year
This year we watched a guy go from rejecting Jesus… to accepting Him… to getting baptized… to leading multiple Bible studies every week. Only God writes stories like that.

2. Clearing School Lunch Debt
We were able to pay off lunch debt for several students in the Gilbert school system—removing a quiet but heavy burden for families who needed the help.

3. A Family Car for a Family of Seven
When a woman in our community suddenly became the guardian of six kids, she had no way to get them around. So our church purchased a vehicle with third-row seating. Problem solved. God provides!

4. Christmas Cheer Through Groups
Three of our small groups are adopting families this Christmas—meeting needs, wrapping gifts, and bringing joy where it’s needed most.

5. Students Stepping Up
Our students aren’t just attending—they’re growing in their faith and stepping into leadership inside their groups. They’re taking ownership of their walk with Jesus, and it’s awesome to watch.

6. RADIUS Kids Boom
RADIUS Kids jumped from an average of 185 kids over the summer to 280 kids on one Sunday in August. That’s a lot of goldfish crackers… and a lot of disciples being made.

7. Rebekah Hill Joined the Team
Rebekah Hill came on staff as our part-time Kids Coordinator, and she brought a ton of experience, joy, and organization. RADIUS Kids is better because she’s here.

8. Re|engage Officially Launched
In September we officially launched ReEngage—and since then, 75 couples from multiple campuses have committed to building stronger, more God-honoring marriages. That’s a lot of date nights and a lot of heart work.

9. Welcoming Colby Medley
We hired Colby Medley as our Groups and Serve Team Coordinator, and he hit the ground running. His energy, organization, and passion have strengthened how we love and serve our people.

10. Matching Funds for Families in Crisis
Two of our small groups raised money to support a family who lost their home in a fire and a partner who recently lost his job—and our church matched their gifts to multiply the impact. This is the church being the church.

1. Campus Alignment
This year we aligned Lexington, Centerville, and Longs Pond under the leadership of Ryan Molony as Lead Communicator—and it’s helped all three campuses grow. We’re better positioned than ever to reach our community.

2. New Faces
In February, we welcomed Josh Carter to the team as our Campus Pastor. He jumped in early and has been a huge gift to our people.

3. Ready to Serve
In August, we announced that Jeff Taylor, John Manna, and Israel Reeves would step in as Shepherding Elders for our Lexington campus. These men love our church and are already serving with wisdom and humility.

4. Crazy Generosity
There are more stories than we can possibly share, but we love watching our groups discover creative ways to serve and bless our community. Needs—big and small—keep coming our way, and our people keep responding.

5. Baptism Sundays
Some of our favorite Sundays, hands down. We heard powerful testimonies and celebrated over 30 changed lives in 2025! Jesus is moving.

6. New Ministry Launch
With leadership from Mary Zanca and Ellie Yunker, we launched Mosaic Ministry, serving families with disabilities. Not only did this ministry get off the ground—it experienced incredible growth this year.

7. Community Outreach
This fall we re-launched Trunk or Treat—and it was a huge win. More than 30 trunks, tons of volunteers, and hundreds of families loved on through one big night of fun.

8. RADIUS Kids on the Rise
RADIUS Kids continues to grow—more kids are attending weekly than we’ve seen in the last five years! Young hearts are learning Scripture, experiencing community, and building a foundation of faith. It’s an exciting season.

9. RADIUS Students
Between summer camp, fall retreat, and weekly gatherings, our students had a full year. One of the biggest wins was the introduction of Greenhouses—weekly spaces for students to dive deeper in their faith through study, conversation, and real accountability.

10. Interns & Residents
God keeps sending us incredible interns and residents who strengthen our ministries and serve our people so well. Each one is an answer to the prayers we pray every Wednesday at 10:02—so let’s keep praying for more workers for the harvest!

ONE BIG THING FOR 2026: Multiply Leaders
In the year ahead, we’ll be identifying and equipping new leaders to strengthen our campus teams, reach our community more effectively, and prepare the way for future church plants. Big things start small—and we’re excited to get to work.

1. Baptisms in Our First Year
We kicked off our very first year at RADIUS Longs Pond by celebrating 13 baptisms—13 stories of life change and new beginnings. What a way to start!

2. Give Hope Overflowed
Last year’s Give Hope generosity goal? Exceeded. Our people showed up big, and it made a real difference in real lives.

3. Thanksgiving on Mission
Because of your generosity, we collected and delivered Thanksgiving meals to 71 families in our community. Full tables, full hearts.

4. 4,000 Deep-Fried Oreos (Yes, Really)
We deep-fried and handed out 4,000 Oreos at the White Knoll Trunk or Treat. Did anyone go home without a sugar rush? Doubtful.

5. Our First Easter Service
Our first-ever Easter at Longs Pond was one for the books—353 people came to celebrate the resurrection with us.

6. Give Hope in Action
Give Hope funds helped families in need, covered funeral expenses, repaired vehicles, supported local schools, and met needs all over our community. Generosity has a ripple effect, and you made waves this year.

7. One Year Together!
We celebrated our first birthday as a campus—one year of worshiping, serving, and loving our neighbors together. Here’s to many more.

8. Warm Coats for Cold Days
Last winter, our campus helped provide coats for students at Deerfield Elementary who didn’t have them. A simple gift, a big impact.

9. Groups Are Growing
We saw a surge in Small Group participation—72% of our partners plugged in. People are finding community, opening their Bibles, and growing together.

10. A Growing Serve Team
More than 120 people served on a team this past year, with tons of new faces jumping in. Ministry is a team sport, and this team is strong.

1. Celebrating New Life
We celebrated 6 baptisms in 2025—bringing us to 20 baptisms since RADIUS Pelion launched with just 35 adults. That’s almost one salvation for every adult we sent out! God is moving in Pelion.

2. More People, More Chairs
New families have been showing up every Sunday. We even had to order more chairs to keep up! Attendance jumped from an average of 100 people in 2024 to 150 over the past three months—a 50% increase!

3. Kids Ministry Growing Fast
Our Kids Team is incredible. With so many young families joining us, they’ve welcomed 20+ new kids in a short amount of time. They’ve been discipling kids well while creatively figuring out how to maximize every inch of space.

4. Groups & Serve Teams Thriving
More people are stepping up to lead, join groups, and serve one another. Watching our church family actively disciple each other has been a huge joy this year.

5. Pelion Palm Sunday & Easter Egg Hunt
RADIUS Pelion partnered with the town and two other churches to host a community-wide Palm Sunday service and Easter Egg Hunt. It was a beautiful picture of worship, unity, and the body of Christ gathering as one.

6. Summer Kickoff — Round Two!
We hosted our second annual Summer Kickoff, complete with games, food, waterslides, and a dunk tank for kids who memorized Bible verses (yes, the pastor got dunked!). It was amazing to see families celebrating God’s Word together.

7. Showing Up Around Town
We loved serving at community events like the Back-to-School Bash/National Night Out, Trunk or Treat, the Peanut Party, Thanksgiving Service, and the Parade of Lights. Our desire is to shape the culture of Pelion by being present—sharing the gospel in our lives, deeds, and words.

8. Caring for Our Own
Our church showed up for each other again and again this year. More than ten times, partners rallied around someone in need—meeting practical needs, offering support, and being the church in action.

9. English as a Second Language Ministry
Several of our partners launched an ESL class using the Gospel of Mark to teach English. Eight Spanish-speaking families have already benefitted from this ministry. We love seeing the gospel cross cultural and language barriers.

10. Investing in Pelion’s Students & Families
We’re grateful for the opportunity to support School Time Bible ministries, all four local schools (each with their own list of Give Hope stories!), and many families and individuals across our community. God keeps giving us opportunities—and we keep saying yes.

1. A Growing Church Family
We celebrated 8 baptisms this year and saw growth across the board—Sunday gatherings, small groups, and families stepping up to take ownership of their radius. The stories of life change have been incredible. Our church is learning what real, biblical community looks like, and it’s beautiful to watch.

2. Student Ministry Momentum
Our student group has grown tremendously and truly feels like a family. This year we had our largest group ever attend both Summer Camp and Fall Retreat. Students also traveled to Columbus County, NC for Mission Serve—repairing homes, serving others, and growing deeper in their walk with Jesus. God is clearly at work in the next generation.

3. Worship Night
Our worship nights have become powerful moments where our people gather to seek the Lord, unify as a church, and respond to His presence. These nights are some of the most meaningful rhythms in our year.

4. Small Groups at Full Strength
This year brought our highest small group participation ever. Stories of spiritual growth, generosity, care, and genuine community poured in week after week. People are owning their discipleship and stepping into deeper relationships.

5. Saluda Nursing Home Partnership
Every Thanksgiving, our church cooks for and blesses the employees of the Saluda Nursing Home—honoring the sacred work they do. This project is led by partners who gladly give up part of their holiday to love others well.

We also host a Christmas Candlelight Service for residents who can’t attend church elsewhere. Hearing them sing along with our band always brings tears.

6. Teacher Breakfast
We kicked off the school year by feeding over 400 employees from the Saluda School District. It’s far more than a meal—it’s a chance to bless, encourage, pray for, and speak life over the educators who shape our community every day.

7. Night to Shine
For the 6th year, we hosted Night to Shine—a prom experience for individuals with special needs. This year we saw our largest number of honored guests and volunteers yet. It continues to be one of the absolute highlights of our year.

8. Benevolence & Local Support
Because of your generosity, we were able to walk alongside families facing real hardship—helping a father who lost his job, covering an electricity bill, feeding a family of thirteen, supporting a child recovering from a stroke, providing food and a refrigerator for a family without transportation, and covering rent for a single mom raising four teenagers.

Through Christ Central and Serve Saluda, we also built multiple ramps and decks for families who needed safer access to their homes. God has been so faithful as we steward what you give.

9. Partnering with FCA & Christ Central
Our ongoing partnerships with FCA and Christ Central have allowed us to invest in students, families, and neighbors across Saluda—offering help, resources, and a consistent Gospel presence throughout the year.

10. Sending Out RADIUS Newberry
On December 14th, we will commission our first-ever church plant — RADIUS Newberry. We’ll pray over Marcus, Donte, and the Saluda partners stepping out in faith to plant a church in their hometown. This is something we’ve prayed about for years—and now we get to send them joyfully and generously.

Community Engagement
We continue to engage our town through every natural wave of Saluda life—Easter events, Water Day, 5th Quarters, Fall Festivals, and more. We show up, serve, love, and build relationships that open doors for the Gospel.

One Big Thing for 2026: Look Up, Look In, Look Out
In the year ahead, we want to follow Jesus with real faith in real life—investing deeply in others, seeking the Lord together, strengthening our community, and stepping into the mission He has given us.

1. Sending Our Best
We were sad to see Scott, Jon Ross, and Anthony move on, but we’re thrilled to watch them use their gifts in new places. Sending our best is never easy—but it’s worth it.

2. Trust God and Get Going
Even with staff transitions, our mission never changed. Southside and Carolina rolled up their sleeves and got back to work. Our campuses continue to grow as our people stay focused on loving the folks in their radius.

3. A New Wave of Young Leaders
Caleigh, JT, Elijah, and a whole crew of 20-somethings stepped up in huge ways this year—carrying real responsibility and maturing right before our eyes. The future is bright!

4. Welcoming Our Youngest Leaders
We also welcomed 10 new babies in 2025, with more on the way in 2026! As the saying goes… if there’s no cryin’, the church might be dyin’!

5. Run With Christ Columbia
Gen Z is creative, industrious, and spiritually hungry—and it shows. This year brought brand-new ministries downtown, like Run With Christ Columbia. Come run with 50 new friends on Saturday mornings—we’ll meet under the pecan tree.

6. Partnering With FCA
We love using the space God has given us! We’re grateful to host Midlands University FCA for USC, CIU, Benedict, and Allen—supporting campus ministry across the Midlands.

7. Groups Growing Everywhere
More than 300 people are meeting in 21 groups across Columbia—reading Scripture, building friendships, praying together, and finding creative ways to be generous.

8. Worship That Must Be Sung
We have a theology that demands to be sung. If you love to worship, join us on Sunday nights… just be prepared, because Natalie might add an extra song at the end!

9. Night to Shine 2026 Prep
RADIUS Southside is honored to partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host the 2026 Night to Shine—a one-of-a-kind prom experience for the special needs community. Thanks to MC’s leadership, we already have 180+ volunteers gearing up to make dreams come true in February.

10. Reaching the Nations
Our mission doesn’t stop at Columbia. Leaders from our campus are heading to Mexico, Peru, and the Middle East—and a 2026 trip to South Sudan is in the works!

One Big Thing for 2026: Pipeline
Every week, we thank God for the opportunity to serve downtown Columbia. With thousands of future leaders and disciple-makers walking through our doors, we get to play a small part in equipping the next generation for Jesus. Pray for continued favor with the 40,000+ USC students all around us!

1. Warming Center
God has used the Warming Center as a place of refuge, offering warmth, safety, and dignity to vulnerable neighbors. Through it, doors have opened for prayer, relationship, and meaningful, practical care.

2. Small Groups
God has deepened community through small groups, where people gather around Scripture, pray for one another, and experience genuine life-on-life discipleship.

3. Recovery Services
Through recovery services, God is bringing freedom, hope, and fresh starts to individuals and families walking through addiction and brokenness. We’ve watched Him rewrite stories!

4. 30+ Baptisms
With more than 30 baptisms this year, God has transformed lives in visible, powerful ways as people publicly declared their faith and stepped boldly into new life in Jesus.

5. Thanksgiving Community Outreach Dinner
God gathered our church and community around the table through the Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner, meeting real needs and creating a space for the love of Christ to be shared freely.

6. Ugly Christmas Sweater Event
Even our Ugly Christmas Sweater event became a ministry moment—God used laughter, joy, and a little silliness to build relationships and help new people feel at home.

7. Partnering with SEA Place & Ezekiel Ministries
By partnering with organizations like SEA Place and Ezekiel Ministries, God has multiplied our reach to care for vulnerable families and individuals in Jesus’ name.

8. Monthly Men’s & Women’s Events
Through monthly gatherings for men and women, God is strengthening believers, forming new friendships, and calling people to take faithful next steps in discipleship and service.

9. Community Ambassadors Through Generosity
Through the generosity of community ambassadors, God is shaping our reputation as a church that gives, blesses, and reflects His heart to our city.

10. Easter Service
At our Easter service with over 400 people in attendance, God drew many to hear the gospel, celebrate the risen Christ, and experience the joy and hope of resurrection life together.

Your prayers are working! Our downtown Columbia campuses—RADIUS Southside and RADIUS Carolina—have continued to grow this year as the Lord has brought new workers for the harvest. One of the most exciting developments has been the surge of college students and young adults choosing to worship with us each week. Because we want what happens on the platform to reflect the beauty and culture of the congregation God has assembled, it’s only natural that our worship teams now include more young faces, especially at RADIUS Carolina.

There can be a temptation to label young people as lazy, inconsistent, or uncommitted—but that has not been my experience. If anything, I would argue the opposite. Time and again I’ve seen this generation bring incredible energy, dedication, and a genuine desire to steward their gifts well. This year, God has blessed our downtown campuses with worship teams full of people who are hungry—first and foremost—to know Him better, and who also deeply desire to grow in their craft for the glory of Christ.

When you walk through the doors of 702 Whaley St., you can feel that passion. At RADIUS Carolina, we’ve even added additional songs to our service flow because the college students and young adults in the room are so eager to hear God’s Word and respond in worship—singing their hearts out week after week.

When we talk about “pipeline”—training and equipping new leaders to plant churches and share the Gospel—the opportunity we have at our Columbia campuses to pour into the next generation is something we do not take for granted. The Lord is doing something incredible in and through these young people, and I’m humbled to play even a small part in it.

This fall marked meaningful progress for Groups at RADIUS as we clarified the mission of Groups and established consistent language that now guides our website, training, and conversations across campuses. With that clarity in place, we launched several key tools to support leaders and participants, including a central resource hub, an updated Groups webpage, and a streamlined onboarding process for new leaders. We also rolled out a new training module, expanded supplemental resources, and improved ease of connection by moving all group signups online and keeping them open year-round.

We strengthened leader support and enhanced the group experience by broadening content options through a curated menu of approved studies and a new review process for additional requests. Our subscription to RightNow Media further expanded what’s available to leaders. In addition, we developed a survey for group leaders and attendees to gather insights on spiritual health, group dynamics, and practical needs—giving us actionable data to shepherd more effectively across all campuses.

Finally, generosity became a renewed area of impact within Groups. By raising awareness of RADIUS’ generosity-matching opportunities and simplifying the submission process, we made it easier for leaders to meet needs in their communities. This streamlined approach has already led to a clear increase in participation and generosity across Groups and the broader church—another marker of how God has used this year to strengthen connection, care, and mission through our Groups ministry.

As we sat down at the beginning of 2025—dreaming and praying as a Southside staff about our generosity budget for the year—one question kept challenging us: “Where in our city, in our radius, is there momentum we can join?”

If you’ve paid any attention to downtown Columbia—or cities across the United States—you’ve likely noticed a beautiful, undeniable movement: a growing wave of inclusion and opportunity within the special needs community.

Ironically, that conversation happened in a coffee shop that opened last year in Columbia with a mission to employ individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. And right across the street, the steady beeping of excavators on Gervais hinted at another project with a similar heart: construction on The Lantern Hotel, sister to the Shepard Hotel in Clemson, both committed to creating meaningful hospitality jobs for adults with disabilities.

A few weeks later, during our All-RADIUS staff meeting, Matt Altman shared that RADIUS Lexington was launching RADIUS Mosaic—a pilot special needs ministry created to serve several families regularly attending who needed a Sunday environment where their children with varying disabilities could worship freely and safely.

Then, not long after, my husband and I found ourselves at the Night to Shine training at Mt. Horeb UMC. The organizers pleaded for more churches to host the event because they had to turn away 100 individuals last year due to limited capacity.

And a few weeks after that, in another All-RADIUS circle, we celebrated with Trey Shealy as he shared the impact of RADIUS Saluda’s sixth Night to Shine—how deeply it touched their community, their congregation, and their staff.

Sign after sign after sign pointed us in the same direction. When we looked closer and realized there are only three Night to Shine hosts in the Midlands—Lexington, Saluda, and Lugoff—and not a single one in the capital city, the calling felt even clearer.

With a popular event venue directly across the street from Southside, the potential partnership seemed too perfect to ignore. We began the application process, praying for God’s favor and for all the pieces to fall into place. After a lengthy review, we received our final approval in July.

Now, as we prepare for our first-ever Night to Shine in 2026, our prayer is simple: that this event will honor God and celebrate the incredible movement of inclusion happening in Columbia. The way the Lord has brought the right people together—quickly and clearly—has been deeply encouraging. We are truly excited to serve our radius in this way.

We plan to welcome 80 honored guests who will receive the full star treatment: hair and makeup stations, shoe shines, a walk down a red carpet lined with cheering paparazzi, their moment to be crowned king or queen, a sit-down dinner sponsored by Chick-fil-A, and of course—lights, disco balls, a DJ, and more dancing than you can imagine.

While guests enjoy their evening, their parents will be treated to a relaxing night across the street at Southside with an elevated dinner, dessert, and coffee bar. With around 200 volunteers from our churches and communities joining together to serve, we can’t wait to see how the Lord uses this night to bring hope, joy, and dignity to families across our radius.

Sometimes it feels like certain conversations in marriage just keep looping. You cover the same ground, you feel the same frustration, and eventually you’re tempted either to force your way out of the cycle or step out of it altogether.
 
Re|Engage offers another way forward. Instead of escaping the circle or endlessly spinning in it, what if you reimagined it? What if the ring on your finger wasn’t the only circle helping you stay committed? What if you added… a hula-hoop?
 
It may sound playful, but the idea is rooted in a consistent theme throughout Scripture: transformation starts in the heart. Romans 7:18 reminds us that even when we desire to do what’s right, we can’t carry it out on our own. Real change in marriage begins when each person invites God to do His work within them.
 
That’s the hula-hoop. Picture yourself standing inside one. Everything inside that hoop is what needs to be surrendered to God for growth and renewal. And since the only thing in that hoop is you, you know exactly where the work begins. When your own heart submits to God, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible in your marriage.
 
Marriage is part of God’s design, and He has a plan for yours. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s even harder without a framework to navigate the seasons, challenges, and growth that come over time. Re-Engage offers fourteen weeks of guidance, biblical teaching, and practical tools to help you build that framework, all with the goal of glorifying God through a covenant relationship with your spouse.
 
Invest in your marriage. Invest in Re|Engage. It’s time to stop spinning—and start hula-hooping.

We recently had the opportunity to host a spot on the front lawn of Newberry High School for the community Trunk or Treat. As we prepare to launch in January 2026, this event gave us a chance to be present, meet our neighbors, and build new relationships in our community. Many families, school staff, and community leaders stopped by, and we even saw some familiar faces.
 
During the event, our team spoke with a local leader who shared about his faith and his background in ministry. In just a few minutes, the conversation turned into a time of encouragement and prayer right there on the lawn — a moment that reminded us how God weaves His people together in unexpected ways.
 
In just an hour and a half, God used a simple community event to open doors we couldn’t have planned for. People recognized our team, connected our name with our faces, and saw that we’re here to love this community well. Most of all, it was a reminder that God is already at work in Newberry—and we’re grateful to play even a small part in His plan.

A few weeks ago, our students spent the weekend away together at our Fall Retreat — and God encouraged our students in significant ways. Centered on the theme “Who’s Your One?”, the weekend challenged every student to think intentionally about one person in their lives who doesn’t yet know Jesus — a friend, classmate, teammate, or neighbor — and how God might use them to reach that person with the good news found in the gospel.
 
Many students responded by writing a name on a domino — a longstanding piece of our RADIUS culture. This serves as a reminder to pray and pursue our “one,” and ultimately represents our part in a chain reaction of making disciples. As we handed out these dominos some students asked for multiple, saying they couldn’t narrow it down because they had multiple people they wanted to pray for and see made into a disciple. These students represent the future pipeline of leaders, yet they’re already stepping boldly onto the front line in reaching their radius today.

In early September, more than 150 couples gathered at RADIUS Church - Lexington for our Marriage Conference — a weekend dedicated to building stronger, Christ-centered relationships.

We were honored to have guest speakers and podcast hosts Dave and Ashley Willis lead us through powerful sessions focused on creating a “marriage worth repeating.” Throughout the weekend, couples had intentional moments to connect, pray together, and discuss the truths being taught from the stage.

One of the most impactful moments came near the end of the conference. During worship, our leaders invited couples to sing “The Blessing.” But instead of simply singing it, they were encouraged to pray the lyrics over their spouse and family. The room filled with voices lifted not just in song, but in heartfelt prayer — a powerful display of God’s love and truth moving among His people.

The topics throughout the weekend — communication, intimacy, and expectations — ran deeper than just practical advice. They pointed to one of our core values at RADIUS: Glorify God.

How do we glorify God in our marriages?
How is He honored in the way we communicate with our spouse?
How is He glorified when couples choose to lean into each other during a tough season?

Ultimately, if God designed marriage, He also designed the way for it to flourish — in a way that brings Him glory. When we embrace that mindset, we truly begin to build a marriage worth repeating.

At our annual Partner Dinner, a RADIUS Southside partner approached us after hearing about our generosity opportunities. She shared about a family connected to the school where she works — a single mom with several children who attend there.

The family had been through a difficult year, having lost the father last year. When the new school year began, the mom was dropping her kids off each morning — but their van’s rear passenger-side window had been shattered, leaving a large open hole. Rain, cold, and heat poured into the car, and often the kids arrived at school soaking wet, shivering, or overheated — yet their mom continued doing everything she could to get them there on time.

She asked if RADIUS might be able to help.

Thanks to GIVE HOPE funds, we were able to partner with a local glass company to find and install a replacement window. While waiting for the part, the company even took the time to wrap the opening securely to keep the family safe and comfortable in the meantime.

This small act of generosity became possible because a RADIUS partner was “heads up” in her radius — she noticed a need, shared it, and through the GIVE HOPE funds contributed by our church community, we were able to meet a very real and practical need for this family.

As our state continues to grow and churches continue to decline, we are convinced now more than ever that we must keep planting healthy, generous, disciple-making churches in towns across South Carolina.

Jesus said in Luke 4:43, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” That same urgency drives us in what we call the Great Opportunity.

For the past three years, our elders have been praying about how best to approach this moment. After holding our gifts out to the Lord and asking Him to put the right person in the right spot, we believe this next step is a key piece of the Great Opportunity strategy.

Ryan Molony will step into the role of Lead Communicator for our Lexington area campuses—Lexington, Centerville, and Longs Pond—while also serving as a Directional Elder, helping to guide the overall vision and mission of RADIUS Church. This shift allows us to build on the strength of our healthy supply line—the Lexington area churches—leveraging them to reach Lexington in a fresh way while also resourcing the frontline across South Carolina.

With Ryan providing teaching and leadership to our Lexington campuses, our supply line is positioned to thrive and multiply. At the same time, John Reeves will continue as Lead Pastor while dedicating more of his energy to the frontline—recruiting and training church planters who will carry the gospel into new towns across our state.

Together, as a church body, we can do the same—hold our gifts out to the Lord and let Him use us. For the Great Opportunity to move forward, it’s important for every person to play their part at their campus and in their radius. Together, we’ll plant churches that make disciples and live generously so that more towns across our state hear the Good News of Jesus.

PRAYER

• Pray that GLORIFYING GOD will continue to be the main focus of our people, and that our conversation will focus on that rather than the RADIUS -R.
• Pray that fruit will continue to come as we pool our resources together that will drive us towards seizing the Great Opportunity - to see a growing South Carolina changed by the Gospel through planting churches of disciple-makers who live generously in their radius.

FRONTLINE | PLANT CHURCHES
Our state continues to grow while churches continue to decline. 3,000 people have moved into the Lexington area in the last 6 months. South Carolina has grown by 60,000 in the last 6 months. We feel responsible for the state of South Carolina and want each town to have a healthy, generous, disciple-making church.

• RADIUS Newberry is gearing up to begin in January.
• Longs Pond just turned one year old.
• The Lord is stirring in North Augusta and there may be potential for a church in Gaffney.

PIPELINE | DEVELOP LEADERS

• Keep praying at 10:02 for workers for the harvest (Luke 10:2).
• Our church planting cohort is beginning this week. Pray for these men as they learn, grow, and build friendships.

SUPPLYLINE | ESTABLISH ROOTS

• Because we know healthy marriages help the health of our church, we are hosting a marriage conference this weekend. Pray for the 150 couples who are coming.
• Groups and re|engage are two environments where disciples are made. This fall, more than 1,500 people are connected in adult discipleship across our campuses—with most campuses seeing over half of their weekly attenders actively involved in community.

On Saturday, August 16, we had our 3rd annual student worship workshop, INTRO! We started the day worshiping together with an all-student band, and then students broke into smaller groups to get hands-on with their instruments and even practice songwriting. One of the most encouraging things to see was some of our returning students stepping up to lead on and off stage—welcoming and encouraging those who were experiencing INTRO for the first time. These students' spiritual, personal, and musical growth has been evident over several semesters, and on Saturday they did an incredible job passing along what they have learned to younger students.

In July, Mission Lexington reached out with an urgent need: their “chiller” truck had blown its engine. The truck, already aging and barely holding on, played a crucial role in their daily operations. It was used to collect perishable food items nearing expiration from local grocery stores—including Lowe’s Foods, Publix, Walmart, Target, and Food Lion—and transport them to Mission Lexington’s facility, where the items are stored in a walk-in freezer and then distributed to those in need across Lexington County.

Without a functioning truck, this food would go to waste, and many families would miss out on critical support.

Thanks to the generosity of RADIUS Partners and our GIVE HOPE fund, we were able to step in and purchase a replacement truck for $45,000. While not brand new, the truck is new to them—with only 47,000 miles—and in great condition. The “chiller box” from the old truck is being transferred to the new one, and Mission Lexington will be back on the road in no time.

This was made possible by the thousands of generous people who call RADIUS home. We had remaining funds from last year and had been praying for the right long-term investment—and this was it. The timing was perfect, and we were able to respond quickly.

It’s a huge win for RADIUS, a huge win for the faithful team at Mission Lexington, and the biggest win for the working poor, disabled veterans, individuals on disability, and senior citizens living on limited incomes. Thanks to Mission Lexington’s hustle and creativity—and your generosity—this food will stay out of dumpsters and land where it’s most needed: in the homes of our neighbors.

We believe planting churches is the most effective way to reach South Carolina with the gospel—and it doesn’t happen by accident. It takes a healthy pipeline of faithful leaders who are being developed, trained, and sent. Both roles are crucial to the planting of new churches, and we’re excited for you to see how your partnership and prayer is fueling this mission.
