Advent SERVICE

Kidcare is available for ages 0-3 at RADIUS Lexington.

Waiting… Why do we remember the waiting during Advent?

In the hustle and bustle of the coming Christmas season, waiting prompts us to halt, and halting compels us to remember. During Advent, we wait in a state of somber beauty, so to speak, which causes us to acknowledge the weight and grief of our sin and with it, our desperate need for the coming Savior. Yet, we wait with hopefully expectancy of the grace, mercy, and redemption that is to come through Christ Jesus. Words like love, joy and peace are not merely seasonal words, but are hope and life filled, describing what Jesus has come to bring. Join us as we take time to pause, reflect, and long for our coming King and the freedom and joy that comes when we behold Him.

Sermon Series

Jesus Christ came to the earth to bring love, joy and peace in a world filled with sin, pain and strife. The finished work of Christ has produced these fruits in the lives of His followers as empowered by the Holy Spirit. Christmas is a time to celebrate Jesus coming as He paves the way for the spirit filled life.
