Every one of us is shaped by desires, habits, and struggles we don't always notice. Pride. Envy. Anger. Lust. Wrath. Gluttony. Sloth. The things we brush off, justify, or keep hidden slowly begin to shape us into who we are becoming.

They start to show up in everyday life, creeping into our decisions and affecting how we see people, our attitudes, and our relationship with God. What once felt small becomes something that has more influence than we realized. It promises satisfaction, control, relief, but eventually it leaves us empty, always wanting more.

But when it's exposed and when we acknowledge it for what it truly is, Jesus doesn't push us away. He exposes what's hidden, brings it into the light, and meets us there. Not with shame or rejection, but with grace that transforms us from the inside out.
