WHO -R WE

Our Name

Our name comes from this basic premise:
Every person has a sphere of influence, or what we would call your radius.

As we go about our business, living life in our unique radius, are we going to look like Jesus in the process? Will we love God? Will we consider our neighbors more important than ourselves? Will we obey the truths of scripture? Are we going to be faithful to what God has called us to do in our radius?

So where does your radius begin? It begins in your home and includes those within your walls daily. Then, we take many laps a week in our world along with a trip or two to church for worship and biblical community.

Healthy Disciples

Being a healthy disciple in your radius matters because people notice how you live long before they listen to what you believe. When you walk with Jesus and reflect His love in everyday life—at home, at church, and in your world—you naturally share the Good News right where God has placed you. That’s how others come to know Jesus and how disciples multiply into disciples who make disciples.

My World

Your spouse, kids, siblings, roommates - those closest to you… These are your first neighbors, and we want to help you love them well. As you develop healthy habits of walking with God - praying the truth about God and the truth about ourselves and reading the Bible you’ll grow in your love for Jesus and those closest to you. Together, you’ll have stories to tell of God’s work in your family and in your radius.

My Home

Your office, school, ball field, drive-thru line, neighbor across the street—these are the real-life places where real faith shows up. We want to encourage you to take responsibility for these spaces, engaging the culture as we radius together through hospitality and open-handed living. Why? So you can earn the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus as you go about your everyday life.

My Church

We are Family! RADIUS is a place to be yourself and worship among friends. Like Christians have done for 2,000 years, we’ll hear from God’s Word, pray, sing, share stories, take the Lord’s Supper, and live generously—reflecting Jesus’ generosity to us. Along the way, you’ll use your voice and gifts to do your job and encourage others to follow Jesus in their homes and in the world. Together, we will “GO”—multiplying disciples and multiplying churches.

DNA of a Healthy Disciple

WE WALK WITH GOD
A walk with God is marked by both prayerful dependence and a steady pursuit of truth through Scripture. It’s choosing God’s power over our own strength—talking to Him honestly, praying with and for others, and humbling ourselves before Him in worship. As we pray, we acknowledge who God is and who we are, inviting Him into every part of our lives. At the same time, we open the Bible—not just to read, but to know God, to be changed, and to build our lives on what’s true.
WE DO OUR JOB
Doing Your Job means using your God-given gifts to serve others—in the church and in your community. Every believer has a role to play. As we discover how God has uniquely wired us, we step in, meet needs, and help build up the Church while making an impact in our radius. It’s not just about helping out—it’s about being part of something bigger than ourselves and watching God work through us to change lives.
WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR
We love our radius by noticing others, praying for them, practicing hospitality, and communicating the message of salvation. We know the names of neighbors where we live, work, and play. We take responsibility for our radius by asking: Who are you? Where are you spiritually? How can I help take your spiritual next step?
LIVE GENEROUSLY
Living generously sounds great—but let’s be honest, it can be one of the hardest things we’re called to do. So why do it? Because it reflects the heart of Jesus, who gave everything for us even though we could never pay Him back. Here’s why it matters: When we open our hands, we loosen our grip on the temporary stuff of this world. It frees us up to focus on what truly lasts. Generosity also shapes disciples. We believe everything we have is from God. That includes our time, our talents, and our money. So when we give freely, we’re practicing trust, fighting selfishness, and showing a watching world what it looks like to follow Jesus.
BEAR FRUIT
To bear fruit as a believer means becoming more like Jesus so we can make the gospel attractive to our RADIUS—the people around us. As the Holy Spirit works in us, we grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). When those qualities show up in everyday life, they stand out and point people to Jesus. That kind of fruit opens doors for discipleship, and discipleship leads to multiplication—lives changed by Jesus who go on to help change others.

REAL LIFE. REAL FAITH.

We can't pretend life is something that it's not. Real life is hard. The only thing that matches real life is a real faith in a REAL GOD.

WE PRAY THE TRUTH

When we pray, we worship God and tell Him the truth about Himself. We also pray to tell the truth about ourselves in confession and celebration.
