LaVie Pregnancy Care Center strives to build healthy and happy families in our community by providing Christ-centered support to men and women and their families focusing on their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. LaVie also provides life affirming alternatives to abortion, promote sexual integrity, and offer restoration to those who are suffering from past abortions.
With the Ministry Grant, LaVie was able to purchase a subscription to the BrightCourse – a quality online curriculum that includes lessons on pregnancy, parenting, life skills, spirituality, and fatherhood. In January 2023, 24 clients have requested 161 BrightCourse classes including topics like infant CPR, preparing for a c-section, successful family living, etc.
One of the dads going through the fatherhood BrightCourse classes is 49 years old! He has older teenagers with a previous wife, but this time he wants to be more engaged. This tool has been a great resource fore him, and he has also been matched with a mentor to support him.
Additionally, LaVie has invested in the HOPESYNC – an online tool created specifically for Pregnancy Resource Centers that reaches our abortion-minded clients and can provide instantaneous access to documented text and videos covering a wide variety of client concerns. LaVie is working to share this with their prayer partners to increase awareness.
Finally, they were able to purchase 4 cribs and mattress for their clients.
