Pride | Daniel 4
Pride can convince us that we're self-sufficient, that we're owed something, that we deserve the credit, and that we know what's best.
In Daniel 4, King Nebuchadnezzar learns this lesson the hard way. At the height of his power, he looks at everything he's built and takes the credit for it. But God reminds him that his kingdom, his abilities and his success were never his to begin with.
This message explores one of the most dangerous and difficult sins to recognize: pride.
We'll talk about the ways pride shows up in everyday life, why it can destroy the things we love, and how humility begins when we recognize that everything we have is ultimately a gift from God.
