The story of David and Bathsheba isn't just about adultery - it's about temptation, compromise, secrecy, and the subtle decisions that can slowly pull anyone away from God. David was a king, a warrior, a man after God's own heart, and the author of many of the Psalms. Yet even he wasn't immune to temptation.


But this sermon isn't really about David. It's about us.


Jesus teaches that sin isn't just something we do - it's something that starts deep in the heart. Long before a scandal becomes public, something has been growing beneath the surface. That's why Jesus doesn't just address behavior; He addresses the root.
