MOSAIC RESPITE NIGHT

We are so grateful for the Lord’s favor in the growth of our Mosaic ministry! From our beginning with just four students, we have grown to serve twenty-three students and their families. The impact extends beyond our students; by providing a safe place for discipleship, we have also made church more accessible to their caregivers and siblings. Families who have never before attended church together are now able to come, connect, serve, and be served by their church family.

Out of a desire to meet our families’ needs in a tangible way, we hosted our very first Respite Night on September 25! This event was designed to provide caregivers with an opportunity for rest and connection. Parents dropped their Mosaic students and siblings off at RADIUS Lexington for a night of fun. The kids enjoyed crafts, games, and a movie night while their caregivers enjoyed a much-needed three hours off. Because of your generosity, we were also able to bless each family with a gift card they could use as needed for their evening.

It was a true joy to care for our families in this way and an opportunity to live generously by meeting a practical need in our church family. We could not have made it happen without our tremendous volunteers. So many were willing to jump in and serve on a Friday night, and we are so thankful for the way they love our students and families. We are excited to offer this event again!
