Spies & A Risky Rescue | Joshua 2

We all have things in our past we wish we could change. But what if God can redeem even the parts of your story you’d rather forget?

In Joshua 2, we meet Rahab, a woman with a complicated past who lived in a city headed for judgment. Yet God doesn’t overlook her. He goes after her, meets her in the middle of her mess, and gives her a new story.

Rahab’s story is ultimately a picture of the gospel. We all need a Savior, we can’t save ourselves, and God’s mercy is greater than our past. The scarlet cord in Rahab’s window points us toward the blood of Jesus and the salvation He offers.
