The Saluda nursing center invited RADIUS Church – Saluda to put on their first ever candle light service for their residents. Our worship team, lead by “ the best mustache at RADIUS” – Jeremy Yoder, lead everyone in worship. Then the workers’ kids joined in on a song. Trey gave a quick message on why we light candles and to reminded the residents that they are loved.
One of the best moments of the night was when a dementia patient remembered the words of Christmas songs and started sing. This moved the care takers to tears.
Afterwards, we served them a gift with milk and cookies. It has been a blessing to partner with the nursing home over the holidays.
