What to Expect
Your First Visit
Welcome! We have no expectations of you on your first visit, and will not single you out. Our goal is for you to have some space in life where you can encounter the living God through prayer, worship, and teaching.
Join us for either of our two Sunday morning services at 8:30AM or 10:00AM. Our worship services typically last 75 minutes, and dress is casual, including jeans and shorts. We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts. This will give you time to park, check in your children to RADIUS Kids, and grab a snack or drink from the cafe prior to the service starting.
Connect at White Knoll
We’d love to help you connect at RADIUS Church. From our small groups to our student groups and RADIUS Kids, there are plenty of ways for you to jump into community.
It is not good for man to be alone. (Genesis 2:18)
When God spoke these words, Adam lived in the garden of Eden – paradise still at his fingertips. Even though he walked with God daily, his joy was still incomplete without others to share it. Adam’s ache and desire for lasting relationships was not a result of the Fall or of sin – they were a core attribute of his perfect humanity.
In the New Testament, passages like John 13, Ephesians 4, Galatians 6 and Hebrews 10 develop the theme of relationships even further. We are told to love one another, forgive one another, bear one another’s burdens, and to spur each other on toward love and good deeds.
God made us for community.
At RADIUS, our goal is to provide a space where students can learn and grow in relationship with Jesus, build friendships with other students, and have some adult leaders who will cheer them on as they learn to own their faith.
Our Middle School and High School Students meet together on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM at our new facility on Platt Springs Road.
At RADIUS Church, we want kids to know God’s story, make friends and have fun. From Nursery (6 weeks – 2 years) to Elementary (Kindergarten – 5th grade) RADIUS Kids is a safe place that encourages fun, friendships, and discovering more about God in an age-appropriate way they can understand. Our awesome team of trained volunteers works hard to ensure that your kids will love coming to church!
For our friends with special needs we offer a “buddy” experience with a trained volunteer that is focused on engaging them in the life of the church. Please contact us beforehand so that we can schedule someone for your child.
Partner With Us
Covenant Partnership is RADIUS’ version of membership. Since our beginning we have stayed away from using the term ‘member’ simply because it elicits the idea that when you become a member, you become a recipient of certain services. ‘Partner’ on the other hand, promotes the idea of joining together – in this case, joining together to make Jesus famous in our community and around the world. In short, covenant partners at RADIUS Church have decided to come together to pursue Jesus and push forward the mission of RADIUS Church to make Jesus famous in our community. Likewise, the elders of RADIUS Church have agreed to take spiritual responsibility for those who have partnered with our body.
The Partnership Process begins by attending a Discovery class. You can get more details on Discovery classes (dates, etc.) as well as find out more about the Partnership Process by clicking the button below.
Serve in White Knoll
Serving has a variety of capacities, but all forms of true service bring glory to Jesus and grow our spiritual lives (1 Peter 4:10-11). Serving at RADIUS does not require that someone believe in order to belong. Instead it is our hope that serving at RADIUS would allow anyone willing to engage in our community to grow in their understanding of the Gospel and Gospel-community. Our volunteer teams do this in a variety of specific ways, but our goal is to invite our partners and guests into Gospel-community.
Serving together also forges community bonds. As we serve “should-to-shoulder” in community, we are refined and can grow in our spiritual walk. It is in the acts of service that we better refine and live out our personal and corporate missional elements of taking the Gospel to those in our RADIUS.
