Week 7

FOCUS QUESTION

How do I stop doing the wrong thing?

“Man’s nature, so to speak, is a perpetual factory of idols.” (John Calvin)

“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” (Augustine)

Sin is what makes us less than the glorious creatures we were created to be. It is the rebellion against the Words of God, against our very design, and against True Love Himself.

TALK

Discuss the focus question and quotes ๐Ÿ’ฌ

What does it mean that we cannot rest until we rest in God? Why would sin make us less than we were created to be?

TEACH
