MEET JON ROSS FORDREE – PASTOR

I am a South Carolina native having been raised in Inman, SC. My wife, Emily, and I have been married since the Fall of 2019. We met at North Greenville University where I received a B.A. in Christian Studies and started my Masters of Divinity. We previously lived in the city of Greer where I served as a pastoral resident and worked as an admissions counselor for NGU but moved to Gilbert during the summer of 2021 to work at RADIUS Church and aid in the discipling of the next generation. I enjoy anything outdoors like camping, kayaking, hunting, and hiking and reading books about things most people find boring (my current favorite is American Buffalo which tells the history of Bison in America).

Good News: Week 17

This weekend Russell Johnson joins us as we look at Jesus' prediction of his death. When Jesus predicts His death multiple times, the disciples respond with confusion and questions. Jesus seems to be full of contradictions. In the end it is apparent that Jesus is challenging us to embrace His Kingdom and Him as Savior by faith. Russell challenged us to consider our answers to those questions in Mark: Who is Jesus? Will you embrace and strive to build His Kingdom?
