All-RADIUS | Intro – Worship Development for Students
INTRO is a worship development workshop for student musicians (grades 6-12) who are interested in advancing their musical gifts to serve their local church. Students will receive a deeper understanding of corporate worship, the role and function of a worship team as well as practical training to help them grow as worship musicians and leaders. The workshop will include both large group sessions and instrument specific breakouts where students will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on learning environment. Breakouts will be led by local musicians and worship leaders.
Where: RADIUS Lexington: 300 – Main Building
When: July 22 from 9AM-12PM
Who: Student musicians (grades 6-12) who play acoustic, electric, keys, bass, percussion and/or sing
What Does My Student Need to Bring? Students should bring their own instrument (with the exception of drums and keyboards)

What Can My Student Expect? A general overview Schedule is below (subject to change):
- 9AM – Snacks, hangout, and icebreaker
- 9:30AM – Worship
- 9:45AM – Large Group Session #1: The Corporate Worship of the Church / The Role and Function of a Worship Band
- 10AM – Table Activity: Pertaining to Session #1
- 10:10AM – Large Group Session #2: Overview of Worship Resources / Practical Knowledge for Worship Band Involvement
- 10:30AM – Break
- 10:45AM – Individual Breakout Sessions
- 11:45AM – Wrap Up / Next Steps
