When you visit our Lexington campus,  you’ll experience a warm, casual environment with friendly people who can’t wait to meet you!  We have no expectations of you on your first visit and will not single you out. Our goal is for you to have some space in life where you can encounter the living God through prayer, worship, and teaching.

MEET BRIAN KIRKLAND – PASTOR

Trisha and I got married in 1998 and have two kids, Lucia and Silas, both of whom were adopted from Colombia, South America.  Together we comprise ‘Team Kirkland’ (complete with matching hats, just like the Griswold’s).  We enjoy Clemson football, board games, quality snacks, and getting outside as much as possible.

As a pastor I bring this same team approach to RADIUS, which means I have an eye toward anything that helps us continue to grow our culture of family and friendship at RADIUS. Most frequently this plays out practically in our weekly community groups, but also happens during times like weekend getaways, softball games, cornhole tournaments, and of course, Sunday morning.

My undergraduate degree is from Clemson (the highlight of this time was meeting my wife), and also hold a MA in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College Graduate School (the highlight of this season was growing in my love for the local church).

KIDS

Kids birth – grade 5 can explore God’s Word, build lots of friendships and have fun doing both!

Good News: Week 7

RADIUS

Why are you afraid? This weekend we continued our look at the Gospel of Mark as we looked at the story of Jesus calming the storm. In it we see Jesus' immense authority and power to control the weather. Lead Pastor John Reeves reminded us that not only did Jesus have the power to stop the storm, He also led his disciples into the storm in the first place. He was well aware of the storm they faced and He was able to calm it. The same is true today of the storms you face in life. Jesus is more than able to calm them, but He may be the One who led you there in the first place so that you would be able to trust Him more. Would you like to have a conversation about following Jesus? We'd love to have a conversation with you. Send us an email and let's start a conversation today (radius@radiuschurch.org).
