Itās funny how we tend to look at a word like resilient and think of people who conquer things against the odds, who lead rebellions and revolutions, who overthrow the great powers.
As Christians, we have to use a word like resilient in a much, much different way.
In fact, resilience for us means total, wholehearted surrender.
In our new series, we will walk through the stories of men and women in the Bible who lived lives of resilience. These are characters who had every opportunity to be swayed by their beauty, money, position, influence, or sufferings, and yet remained resilient to the distractions of this world.
Despite their circumstancesāwhether positive or negativeātheir focus was set on one thing: the King of Kings.
