How do we make the right decisions in life? The Bible’s answer: wisdom. But, the path to wisdom is narrow and uncommon.

This summer, we’ll take our time wading through the Bible’s most famous wisdom book- Proverbs. Its purpose for us? “To help [us] do what is right, just, and fair”. We’ll explore the practical guidance it offers for the everyday stuff: work, friendships, food, parenting, speech, sexuality, justice, and beyond. Together, we’ll take on a Proverb each day as God calls us to be uncommon in a common world.

DAILY PROVERBS READING PLAN

One of the great things about the book of Proverbs is there are 31 chapters – that’s roughly one for each day of the month.  Reading a chapter of Proverbs each morning is an easy way to start your day as you continue to grow in uncommon sense.

This summer, we will read together through the book of Proverbs twice! Take time to read the chapter of Proverbs that corresponds with the day (e.g. read Proverbs 7 on June 7). Follow along on social media to join in our Proverbs conversations each day!

Good News: Week 3

RADIUS

Are you a quality listener? This week we looked at three consecutive stories in Mark. Jesus healed a leper and a paralytic and then called Levi (the tax collector) to be His disciple. In all three stories we see how Jesus met three different people's needs. All three respond by being quality listeners as they can't help but respond to having their deepest needs met. Have you had your deepest needs met by Jesus? Are you being a quality listener and responding appropriately to that heart change by sharing the grace of Jesus with others? If you are struggling with responding appropriately or would like to know more about having Jesus meet your deepest spiritual needs, we'd love to have a conversation with you. Send us an email and let's start a conversation (radius@radiuschurch.org).
