How do we make the right decisions in life? The Bible’s answer: wisdom. But, the path to wisdom is narrow and uncommon.

This summer, we’ll take our time wading through the Bible’s most famous wisdom book- Proverbs. Its purpose for us? “To help [us] do what is right, just, and fair”. We’ll explore the practical guidance it offers for the everyday stuff: work, friendships, food, parenting, speech, sexuality, justice, and beyond. Together, we’ll take on a Proverb each day as God calls us to be uncommon in a common world.

DAILY PROVERBS READING PLAN

One of the great things about the book of Proverbs is there are 31 chapters – that’s roughly one for each day of the month.Β  Reading a chapter of Proverbs each morning is an easy way to start your day as you continue to grow in uncommon sense.

This summer, we will read together through the book of Proverbs twice! Take time to read the chapter of Proverbs that corresponds with the day (e.g. read Proverbs 7 on June 7). Follow along on social media to join in our Proverbs conversations each day!

Good News: Week 2

We continued our series through the Gospel of Mark this week by looking at Mark 1:14-28. Jesus moved to the center of the story after John the Baptist was arrested and his first words in public ministry (as recorded by Mark) are ""The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. β€œThe Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”" (Mark 1:15). As Jesus becomes the center of the story, Lead Pastor John Reeves reminded us that we are called to put Him at the center of our lives as well. Could your life be characterized as one of self-centeredness or is Jesus the center of your life? We'd love to start a conversation with you about making Jesus the Lord and Master of your life. Reach out to us by email and let's start a conversation (radius@radiuschurch.org).
