It is not good for man to be alone. (Genesis 2:18)
When God spoke these words, Adam lived in the garden of Eden – paradise still at his fingertips. Even though he walked with God daily, his joy was still incomplete without others to share it. Adam’s ache and desire for lasting relationships was not a result of the Fall or of sin – they were a core attribute of his perfect humanity.
God made us for community.
The Church was instituted to provide for our need for community. New Testament passages like John 13, Ephesians 4, Galatians 6 and Hebrews 10 develop the theme of relationships even further. We are told to love one another, forgive one another, bear one another’s burdens, and to spur each other on toward love and good deeds. When we live out passages like these, we are able to embody what it means to truly be the Body of Christ.
Family is Family
At RADIUS Church we like to say that “family is family”. You may not always like your family, but you will always love them. At RADIUS, we strive to live out Biblical community as members of God’s eternal family. We talk to people instead of about people, we encourage each other, and we have each other’s back.
How do we live this out?
At RADIUS Church we live this out through our Groups.
Groups are the best place to connect in biblical community at RADIUS Church. They are the place to get to know others and for you to be known. Our groups follow a school semester-style schedule in the Fall and Spring of each year. Don’t do life alone – jump in a group today!
Our groups gather based on the church you attend from within our Family of Churches. Select a church below for more information on their Groups:
